We recently had a fun family night at the fair. Lindsey's art work won a prize and the boys loved riding "The Ring of fire". I won't ride those rides and yes my wife is much braver than me when it comes to rides. I liked walking through the livestock exhibit while the kido's rode rides. I must admit I like the smell of a barn yard. I don't know why, maybe it is my dad in me, maybe a malfunctioning receptor in my brain, or maybe it is just a smell I associate with a simple life of hard work, family, and values.
The fair was a blast! The girls and I split a funnel cake. I told them, "you have not been to a fair unless you eat funnel cake."
